How to Wrap a Truck for Power Washing or Any Other Cleaning Service

Wraps are a great way to get your company notices. It is a passive form of advertising that is not intrusive and if done correctly will generate attention and encourage potential clients to call for your service(s). A good wrap will usually have an eye catching image. This gets the viewer’s attention, causing them to think “Hey what is that” or “That is cool” and wanting to get more information about what has now gotten their attention. This is probably the most important part of the wrap. Just imagine how many commercial vehicles run around with the name and phone number on them. Do you ever pay attention? How many do you think you pass by on a daily basis and don’t realize it, excluding others in the same industry? We all pay attention to those. Now think about how many cars, trucks, or big rigs you can recall from memory that had a unique image on them. Can you remember the name of those companies and what they do? Now just think about what this can do for you as a mobile power washing company that is constantly on the move. And how many potential clients are seeing your equipment and not even giving it a second thought.

Once you have decided on an image now it is time to convey your message. A good rule of thumb is your audience will view your wrap for about three seconds. So don’t clutter your vehicle with a laundry list of what you do. Decide on one to five things that you are trying to sell. Remember the idea of the wrap is to get a client to call you. You can upsell or promote other services after that. If your image is not part of your logo be sure to include your logo and name of your company. And always keep your image separate from your text. Overlaid text on an image can be very hard for the reader to read and can drastically increase the amount of time it takes to convey your message. When designing your wrap remember to keep it simple, keep it clean, straight to the point and separate images from your text.
